[Breaking out of the laboratory could really have gone better. He hadn't run into the other Homunculi, thankfully, but it had certainly been a near miss with the military. Not that Greed had to worry, but the chimera certainly did.
He wasn't certain about the prisoner he'd brought with them, though. Greed knew what the place was being used for and for the man to break out meant that he was resourceful as hell and was someone he definitely wanted on his side.
Still, he was cautious and didn't do much more than keep an eye on the man, wondering about the title one of the soldiers had used.
It's not until hours later and after the group has found a safe house that he finally approaches the man. He's more than aware than aware that the chimera are ignoring him entirely and that makes Greed more curious than threatened, really.]
Prison uniforms stand out a bit. Anything in particularly you want instead?

It's not like he wants anything to happen to the chimera, but this conversation has been quite pleasant from his perspective. No need to get into more than they have to.]
I think we'll get along just fine.
[He moves to touch at his jaw with his left hand in a thoughtful manner, showing off the oroborus mark. The man's an alchemist. If the chimera are aware that he's not human-- and with a name like Greed it's hard not to pick up on that fact, then he's pretty sure that an alchemist could have at least theoretical knowledge of what he is.]

[Oh, he'd noticed the name being a bit off - at the same time, we're dealing with a guy named Solf here, and really, if Greed happened to have mean parents then it's of very little consequence to him.
However, he's more than aware that there's something definitely off about his new...ah, friend here; that much has been plain from the start. He has his suspicions; they're not anything he's voicing for the time being.]
That mark of yours is interesting, you know.
[His right hand traces idly over the back of his left where it's folded in his lap, the gesture almost an unconscious one.]
Does it mean much, or is it just a design you're partial to?

Just the same, slitted pupils are something of a dead giveaway and he's actually enjoying this conversation. Can't let the cat out of the bag that quickly.]
It's a bit of both, really. You could say it's a design I like; it's quite striking, isn't it? But it's also a bit of a calling card. It's key to my identity and I rather like having it out in the opening.
